
A variety of cleansers, toners and face packs are available in the market today for those with oily skin. But not everyone may have the extra cash to purchase such expensive products. The following recipes do not cost so much and is not as harsh on the skin as cleansers and face packs bought from the supermarkets, etc.
Yoghurt and Sugar Cleanser Scrub
½ tablespoon yoghurt
1 tablespoon sugar
Gently wet the face with water. Then add ½ tablespoon yoghurt to a saucer and add the sugar into it. Stir it a little but not too much (or else the sugar will dissolve) and apply it to the forehead, cheeks, chin and around the nose as well as to the tip of the nose and massage gently using your fingers for 2 to 3 minutes. Then rinse of with lukewarm water and pat dry face with a clean towel. Then add the yoghurt, lime and Oatmeal pack.

1 tablespoon yogurt
1-2 drops of fresh lime/lemon juice
Add enough oatmeal to the above two ingredients until the mixture becomes a creamy consistency
Apply the pack on the face avoiding the eyes, eyebrows and lips. Leave to dry for 20 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. The oatmeal draws out the impurities in the face and smoothes out uneven lines reducing the risk of wrinkles.
